Description:
Hollow Drags are common core exercises used by gymnasts to develop core and upper body strength. This exercise requires a flat/slidable object to be placed under the feet (frisbee or equivalent). The midsection must remain tight throughout the entire exercise, particularly when reaching out with the hands.
Process:
- place a slidable object under feet and get into a pushup position
- engage core and ensure that shoulders are directly over the elbows and hands
- head should be neutral
- without breaking position, move hands to crawl across the floor
