Description:
Flutter Kicks are exercises designed to develop core, legs, and hip flexor strength. As the name suggests, this exercise involves kicking of the legs, but done while in a hollow hold position. Increase the difficulty by speeding up the tempo of the kicks. Scale by performing standard hollow holds.
Process:
- lie on back with arms extended overhead
- legs should be together and core engaged
- lift hands and feet few inches off the floor to get into a hollow position
- once in a hollow position, kick legs up and down in alternating fashion while maintaining the hollow position
