When performed correctly, it serves as one of several methods to transition out of a handstand – particularly when you feel your body is tipping over. In order to perform a smooth ‘roll out,’ maintain constant downward pressure and tuck chin into chest to round the upper back as you feel your toes tipping past vertical. It is recommended that this exercise be performed over a soft surface to avoid injury.
