Inverted Pike Stretch

Description:

An Inverted Pike Stretch is a variation of the pike stretch.  This unique position allows you to use the weight of your legs and gravity to feel a deep hamstring and upper back stretch.  For those wishing to gain a deeper stretch, grab the back of the knees and gently pull the legs closer to the torso while keeping knees straight.

 

Process:

  • lay flat with back on the ground
  • bend body at the hips and bring feet over head
  • keep legs straight and compress
