Leg Scissors

Description:

Leg Scissors are dynamic core exercises targeted at strengthening the abdominal system as well as the lower back muscles.  When performing this exercise, the lower you can keep your legs off the ground without letting them completely touch, the more it will activate and fire up your core.

 

Process:

  • lay on back with legs together and toes pointed
  • place hands to the outside of legs
  • engage core muscles to lift legs up at least 6 inches off ground without arching lower back
  • criss-cross legs while keeping legs hovered off the ground
