Long Hang L-Hold on Rings

Description:

A Long Hang L-Hold is a core and hip flexor strengthening exercise.  In order to perform this exercise with utmost efficiency, ensure that you possess ample flexibility in the pike position.  Ideally, knees should be straight when legs are lifted.  Scale by performing a long hang tuck hold.

 

Process:

  • begin in a hang position
  • engage core and ensure body is completely straight
  • maintain a straight back and bend body at the hips until legs are at 90 degrees with the upper body
