Scorpion Stretch

Description:

The Scorpion Stretch is a multifunctional stretch that develops flexibility in the lumbar region, as well as the pectoral muscles and the front of the shoulders.  Utilize this stretch to target several major areas of the body at once.

 

Process:

  • lay with chest on floor with arms stretched out towards the side
  • bend one knee and cross over the straight leg
  • allow chest to slowly roll over and rise off the floor for a stretch in the pectoral and front shoulder region
  • switch sides
