Description:
L-Pull Up is an advanced upper body exercise that combines the elements of an L-position with a standard pull up. This exercise requires a strong upper body, midsection, and hip flexors. The main goal for this exercise is to maintain the L-position throughout the exercise and avoid letting the legs to drop. Scale by performing standard pull ups.
Process:
- begin in a hang on a bar
- engage core and bend body at the waist to lift legs up until they are at a 90 degree angle
- bend elbows to lift body up until chin is in line with the bar
- maintain body position and control as you lower yourself to return to the starting position
