For Crossfitters – wrist mobility is particularly important for gaining a deeper false grip on rings when performing the muscle up This stretch is also helpful for those wishing to relieve forearm and wrist stress – particularly for those that have desk jobs that require you to maintain a rigid wrist position, commonly seen when using the keyboard.
Process:
- begin in a kneeling position and plant both palms on the floor
- lean shoulders side-to-side, in a circular motion, forward and back, until you feel a stretch in the wrist and forearm area
- play with various hand positions for a different type of stretch
