Description:
Supine Body Tighteners on blocks develop all-around body tightening strength, focusing particularly on the the posterior muscles. This is an effective exercise that helps develop core strength necessary for most bodyweight-related skills and exercises. Two evenly-sized mat or platform is required for this exercise.
Process:
- lay on two evenly-sized mats, resting only your shoulder blades on one, and the soles of your feet on the other
- activate your core, but especially the glutes and hamstrings to get your body into a tight, yet slightly arched position
- clasp hands and place it on your midsection for added weight
