Description:
Jumping Jacks are one of the most commonly recognized and widely used cardiovascular exercises out there. Despite its simple movement, this exercise has and continues to be used in a variety of of regimens for its effectiveness for getting the body warmed up for the various activities. For best results, try to perform in a rhythmical fashion.
Process:
- begin in a stand with arms by your side
- slightly bend knees and extend to hop into the air
- land in a straddled position with arms stretched out to the side
- when feet hits, quickly jump back to original position with legs together and arms to the side
- repeat for time or reps
